Are you ready for some football??

It seems appropriate that as pre-season for football starts, the air seems to be a little cooler and less humidity.   I can't believe that August is almost over.  Ok, Ok... I'm not trying to rush us thru the end of summer - but it's been a LONG, HOT summer.  Especially when you have to stay all covered up due to sun sensitivity!

Some of you may have heard the story about Coach Bill Cowher's wife passing away from Melanoma?      What came from that was him become the driving force for MelanomaExposed (Screen. Protect. Know. Tell.).  It's important for people to realize that Melanoma is on the rise and it's so crucial for early screenings.  It doesn't take long to see a dermatologist and have a biopsy done on a mole.  On the Melanoma Exposed page - you can find screenings being done at NFL games around the country.  Here is one posted for NY Giants!

Take a Giant Step Against Melanoma

Wednesday, August 29, 2012
Time: 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM

It was also nice today to see this posted also on the NY Giants Facebook page.  If you live in the NYC area and going to the game on Aug 29th - you can stop by for a screening.
