Ok so my random thought of the day :) The Olympics are coming to a close today and while in London for the Olympics, I was watching folks walking around carrying the flag of their country and started wondering - why do so many flags have red, white, and blue in them? Does it represent how areas of the world were settled? Is it because those were 'easy' colors to make?
I couldn't really find many answers - but did find this out:
Red = war and bloodshed
White = purity and holiness
Blue = loyalty
So if anyone has better answers let me know :)
